A Theoretical-Methodological Model For The Diagnosis Of Text Comprehension From A Historical-Cultural Conception In High Schools’ Seventh Grade

The current transformations implemented in the Cuban High Schools present a model of general integral professor who must make the students to learn more starting with a diagnosis and applying a differential treatment of the students and with the optimal use of TV, VCR, computers and other means. Thereby, the text comprehension becomes a basic process for the achievement of new knowledge.
This research proposes a new alternative of solution to this problematic situation. There is also pictured a theoretical and methodological model that includes two areas, one on the current development of the individual and the other one on the result. Likewise, the model is based on a historical and cultural conception, assuming positive aspects of cognition and humanism and including the explanation of the concept of text from the general semiotic.
