“Calculator” Yes or Not?

The development of science and technique sets challenges for today’s education, expressed in an evident contradiction between the kind of man that we want to educate and the curricular conception it assumes.
The work presents a comparative analysis of different didactical proposals including the use, at international level, of the calculator since the early ages as didactical mean and other work tools which allow the making of new teaching tasks and favors the thought development.
