Enhancing Children's Project Work in a Kindergarten with ICT in Hong Kong
Wai Man Leung.
The kindergarten provides a rich learning environment with ICT for the children, such as both computer centre and laboratory in-out of classroom, digital scanners, digital cameras and digital video cameras. An educational platform is designed to support not only the teaching of teachers but also the learning of children. Moreover, it also supports parents to understand what and how their children learn in school in this technological age. Significantly, children are positively encouraged to learn with the platform and doing their project work with different digital devices. The paper demonstates how the platform works and how children enhance their project in this ICT rich environment. Children's work are also shared in the presentation.
