How Published Ranking Knowledge Affects Educational Institutions' Efficiency: An Empirical Study of Singapore Secondary Schools

Using Data Envelopment Analysis, efficiency scores are computed over 10 years for the top one-third of secondary schools in Singapore. An empirical investigation is carried out to determine how ranking has affected these efficiency scores and the output decision of schools.
