The research is based on data being collected over a one-year time period between fall 2003 (August) and spring 2003 (May).
The purpose of the research is to assess the prior knowledge of preservice teachers in key areas of diversity, educational theories, and multiculturaism.
Second, the reserach hopes to find within the identified areas how perceptions among preservice teachers change over the course of the credentialing process.
