Connecting with Self, the Past,and Others: There is No Independent Mode of Existence.
Moving from nonverbal forms of communication, using thinking
skills and multiple intelligences to solve problems and work
collaboratively, through increasing complex forms of patomime. Then
voice is added to the stories. Learning the elements of "story",
childrne read traditional literature and interview people to find out
more about their past and then write or dramatize the "stories". Role
playing contributes to the development of empathy and character. At
last, an examination of the traditional literature of many cultures
